Flying Visit March edition... my life lately

Monday, 6 April 2015

It's April! Actually, it's April the 6th... it seems I'm always about a week behind when it comes to my end of the month updates! So happy Spring time everybody!

I'm excited. The sun has started shining, my poor feet are finally out of boots and into flats (pedicure needed ASAP) and I've cleared the Bath and Bodyworks shelves of any candle with a spring like sounding name. My home now smells like a 'sundress', apparently...

This is probably not the most riveting of my fliying visits, I think I took less pictures in a March than I generally do, but I wanted to keep the series going none the less! So here's what I got up to in March - Instagram stylie...

Visiting the love lock bridge in Paris... and adding our very own love lock. Some couples had clearly planned ahead and had a heart shaped lock engraved, but we stumbled across the bridge and so made do with a €5 lock and a sharpie! I loved visiting the bridge, it was cute looking at everyone else's locks and I hope we can revisit it again at some point and hunt down our lock :)

A relaxing day at the spa in Dubai... My friend and I managed to get on the same flight to Dubai together, and so spent the day relaxing at the amazing hotel spa. The best part of my job is being able to fly with friends and basically be on a paid holiday. Not too shabby! Of course that's not always the case, so we really make the most of it when we can.

Landing into London... The view was incredible. London is one on my favourite cities to land into the world over, and I especially love how beautiful it looks when lit up at night. On this particular flight I was lucky enough not to be sat in view of any passengers, so I used the opportunity to take a photograph of my favourite city from above.

The Eiffel Tower... Is one of my favourite landmarks, and so we headed there on our first evening in Paris. I love the atmosphere surrounding it, and how excited people are to be around such a famous structure. No matter how many times I see it, I'm always amazed at the sheer size of it, and I love the light show that makes it glitter at night.

Love yourself like Kanye loves Kanye... Not bad advice from this burger joint in L.A! I caught sight of this as I strolled around and had to take a photo... And pop in for a burger... Nach.

I'm a little obsessed... With chia puddings recently, who doesn't want to eat pud for breakfast? I love this one in particular from 'le pain quotidien' (if you have one near you, try this and the avocado toast - to die for!) Their version is made from chia, coconut milk and pure raw cacao and the topped with a blend of nuts and seeds. I've been trying to recreate this at home ever since and think I've finally got it down... If your interested in the recipie let me know and il feature it in a blog post. Yum.

That's all from me, but I love reading life lately posts so if you have one for me to read then leave your links below, I'd love to have a nosey!
