Flying Visit #1

Saturday, 25 October 2014

I always enjoy reading other blogger's life lately posts. I suspect they appeal to my love of looking at pretty pictures, combined with some fairly deep rooted nosiness. So, if your as nosey as I am, My 'flying visit' series will be a weekly catch up of what I've been up to over the last week. In pretty pictures - Self explanatory really :)

  • I'm going on holiday to Thailand this week (and by the time you read this, il probably already be there -yay!) so the pre-holiday preening commenced with set of eyelash extensions. I've dabbled in eyelash extensions in the past, but favour my natural lashes on a day to day basis. However, I also find it's the best alternative to mascara on the beach. Much less scary than going barefaced...And much less sticky than wearing mascara.
  • The pre hol grooming continued further with a hair appointment. I went for subtle balayage and low lights. I'm trying to tone down the brassiness and move more towards a honey blonde.
  • In case you hadn't worked it out already, I'm very excited about my holiday to Thailand. So here's a little plane, in reference to my impending adventure. Excited.
  • A little 'view from where I'm standing' post. Or, if your an instagrammer - the instantly recognisable #fwis ... I love looking at these little snap shots of people's outfits. Mine was taken just before going to Flesh and Buns in covent garden for dinner.
  • Banana Toffee Pecan Loaf. Made by me, and then unfortunately avoided by me as the holiday and therefor being in a bikini was looming. Everybody enjoyed it though, and I did lick the bowl. The entire bowl. Those calories just don't count

:) What have you been up to lately?

  1. Oh, enjoy your holiday. What are you going to do in Thailand? I went to Kho Tao for diving three years ago and it was a blast. Is there a Full Moon Party during your stay? These are pure party.

    1. Thank you! We have been to Phi Phi and are now in Phuket. There is no full moon party whilst we are here, but we have enjoyed a seedy night out in Patong! Would have loved to have dived but settled on snorkels! Xx
